The Morning Brief
The Morning Brief is the heart of Cosma — one screen that tells you what changed across every ad platform, what it means, and what you might do about it. The goal: read the room in five minutes, before your client emails you.
Where to find it
Open Intelligence from the left sidebar. The number badge on Intelligence shows how many flags are currently open for the active client. Switch clients from the client switcher at the top to see each one's brief.
What's on the brief
The summary line
At the top you get the day's headline: how many flags opened, how many moves are recommended for your review, and how much spend is in flight across channels. This is the “read the room” line.
Flags
A flag is a named diagnosis written in plain English — something a senior strategist would point out if they had time. Cosma ships 25+ flags across platforms. Each flag carries:
- A short name and the campaign / ad set / keyword it applies to.
- The data behind it (the metric and how much it moved).
- A recommendation and a deep link that drops you straight onto the right campaign in the ad platform.
Severities
Flags are ranked so you can triage at a glance:
- Critical — needs attention today (e.g. a lost-rank spike or a broken conversion event).
- Warning — worth a look this week (e.g. creative fatigue approaching).
- Watch / informational — context, not an emergency.
The Critical count also appears in the top bar so you always know if something urgent is open.
How to work the brief
